If there is one thing I hate about being 20-it's all the moving around I do.
I miss the days when I had one home (well, I had two since my parents were divorced-but you get the point) I miss the stability. The knowledge that home was....home.
Life isn't like that anymore. Since graduating high school I have moved 10 times....TEN TIMES! Just 4 months ago I moved into the apartment with Molly & come Monday I move back into the Pi Beta Phi house (ahh I'm so excited to be back!! Pi Phi is the BEST place to live...EVER).
But the whole process of moving is awful! Packing, loading, driving, unloading, unpacking. It's just a lot of work that I would rather not do.
I wish I was Sabrina the Teenage Witch and with a pointed finger it could all be done.

I hate moving too!
My entire life I lived in the same house (my parents STILL live there)... and since I moved out to go to school when I was 17, I have moved 7 times! It's insanity. Luckily one of those was only home for the summer, but still, it's just hectic and annoying.
On the plus side you start out on a clean slate with less clutter!
Oh my gosh, I totally agree. I'm in the awkward summer stage, as I'm living with my family during the summer and I have my college things in boxes throughout my room. Ugh. Hope your move goes well!
i know what you mean by moving. all i've done growing up til last feb was move around. for some reason it's either family wanting to move, or just moving in with my bf at the time.. it's just super hectic.

I move back into my sorority house September 4th and I absolutely cannot wait! I hate all the moving around, too, so I know where you're coming from. This summer, I didn't even unpack all the stuff from school just because I didn't want to pack it all back up come September haha. Good luck, girl! Can't wait to read more!
I don't know anyone who does like moving... I have moved 3 times my whole life... I know I will at least one more time when my boyfriend and I buy a house. But that will be a while, we are working on a wedding right now

I totally understand that! I hate moving! Apartment hunting is the worst. I drove around for three days straight to find an apartment close to my college the week before school started.
Good luck in the sorority house though, that should be lots of fun.

Good luck with the move! Being part of a sorority seems fun, at least you're really excited about being back in their house. I'm thinking about rushing this year myself... I know we have a Pi Beta Phi chapter on my campus, I may look into them!
wow.. ten times!! that's more than A LOT !! LOL .. I'm in a sorority as well.. ETA GAMMA DELTA. but here in PUERTO RICO we don't have sorority houses, not anymore at least.. :( boo-hoo

Moving is NOT fun. Although, I do like coming into an empty room and decorating/organizing it just the way I want it. It's kind of therapeutic for me :) Good luck getting it all together!
i HATE moving too! It's true, I've done a lot of moving around since graduating high school. Now I've finally got my own apartment and the only time i plan to move, is if I'm buying a place of my own. The end!
